Contracts Manager - Construction Jobs in Dubai

Job Title: Contracts Manager

1. Represent the Company in all matters with the client, assisted by other edpartments and Senior Management as necessary. All communications with
client, written and verbal, shall be routed to appropriate action and/or information
parties. Contract Manager, unless otherwise delegated, is single point of contact
with the client. The Contract Manager is responsible for overall profitability,
schedule, client relationship, and adherence to ISO 9001 procedures regarding
the Contract Management execution of a project.

2. Maintain client relationships; attend project progress meetings and visit client and project sites as required.

3. Be familiar with to assure strict adherence to all contract terms and conditions.

4. Prepare the Project Procedure Manual including expediting and quality programs
with assigned personnel.

5. Develop, monitor and maintain the Master Contract Schedule. Insure timely
completion of all schedules.

6. Identify contract scope changes. Notify all affected parties (i.e. client, affected disciplines, contractors, etc.) immediately of all changes. Immediately notify client in writing of all impacts (cost, schedule, operations, etc.). Obtain client acceptance of scope changes and their impact before proceeding with work.

Obtain appropriate contract addendum or purchase order revision in a timely manner.

7. Inform Manager of Contracts of all significant or potential problems in sufficient time to take corrective action.

8. Prepare the Requirements for Engineering, Documents, Purchasing and Drawing Form.

9. Review client, contractor and other’s specifications and ensure compliance.

10. Review, maintain and circulate AAT (equipment list) based on input from technical departments.

11. Monitor all work in progress and provide necessary coordination between
technical departments. Announce and conduct internal project kick-off meetings
and internal project progress meetings. Issue minutes of meetings as required.

12. Review and approve (or delegate approval within established limits) all purchase
orders for material and services prior to issuance. Approve all equipment,
services and purchase requisitions. Approve vendor invoices for payment.

13. Prepare invoicing format.

14. Support monthly invoicing.

15. Monitor client timely payment of invoices.

16. Prepare and present financial reviews and projections to management.

17. Resolve all contract issues with client.

18. Resolve all contract issues with subcontractors.

19. Prepare and present Project Status Reports as required.

20. Site visits as required (i.e. obtain information, client relations, project progress monitoring, billings, etc.).

21. Primary contact between Polysius and subcontractors.

22. Prepare bid documents for subcontracts.

23. Evaluate subcontractor’s bids.

24. Prepare subcontract documents.

25. Handle and log document submittals.

26. Assemble information for Installation, Operation and Maintenance Manuals.

27 Handle resolution of field problems, client and contractor backcharges. Assist
purchasing in resolution of vendor backcharges.
